Excalibur - Block Omission and Inclusion

Excalibur allows calls and splices to be selectively omitted and included in different parts of the composition. Two include (call) and two omit constructs are allowed in each composition. The calls and splices can be selectively omitted and included in up to 16 parts. To omit calls or splices, the omitted section is placed in brackets () or []. To include calls or splices in certain parts different bracket types are used <> or {}. The same bracket type can be used for both splices and calls, but brackets round calls must be surrounded by spaces and brackets round splices must be adjacent to the splice. Each pair of brackets must have an associated rule indicating where the calls or splices should be omitted or included. For example Omit() in parts 1,3,5 or Call{} in Part 3.

The example composition below right shows the same rule applied to both call and splice omission. Excalibur will also allow you to change a single call for another in specific part or part numbers. Flag the call to be changed with a star -* and then place the conditions at the end of the composition.
